Origins & early influences
AstroClock began long before any code was written — in a small family garden. My parents followed a sidereal lunar calendar for planting, pruning, and harvesting. This wasn’t metaphysics — it was practical timing. And it worked.
Those early experiences taught me two lessons that shaped this project:
- Cycles matter.
- Timing changes results.
Years later, astrology became the natural extension of these early observations.
Astrology education
Over time I studied various traditions, especially Vedic (Sidereal) astrology, while also exploring Western Tropical and constellation‑based True Sidereal frameworks.
Each system frames time and meaning differently:
- Tropical — symbolic, seasonal, psychological.
- Sidereal (Lahiri/KP) — fixed‑star alignment, predictive timing.
- True Sidereal — MTZ — constellation geometry, including Ophiuchus.

Engineering background
My professional background is in engineering — solving practical, measurable problems with precision. This shaped every decision in AstroClock’s architecture:
- Swiss Ephemeris for accuracy
- WebAssembly for speed and offline capability
- Predictable, reproducible outputs
- Clear interpretation layers (strengths, retrogrades, aspects)

Why AstroClock was built
I built AstroClock because I wanted a tool that didn’t exist:
- Fast, clean, and modern
- Accurate to scientific standards
- Private — no account, no data stored online
- Works offline anywhere
- Shows why something is happening (not just a list of events)
- Supports multiple zodiac systems
AstroClock is meant to be both a technical instrument and a symbolic lens — without noise or mystification.
Philosophy
My core beliefs about astrology:
- Precision matters — astrology should be technically correct.
- Meaning matters — symbolism grows from patterns, not superstition.
- Honesty matters — no fear tactics, no fatalism.
- Privacy matters — your birth data stays with you.
AstroClock is built around these principles.
Connection to nature
Astrology began for me in the soil — in plants responding to Moon rhythms, sunlight arcs, and seasonal shifts. That connection never left.
Astrology is not only about charts — it is about living cycles. The garden taught me that.
Vision for the future
AstroClock will continue to grow with:
- More house systems
- Minor aspects & harmonic tools
- Expanded learning library
- Optional, privacy‑safe chart sharing
- More interpretation depth without clutter
The long-term goal: A precise, modern astrology tool that respects your intelligence, your time, and your privacy.
